What concerns professional cheerleaders, they usually dance cheers for such sports as football, baseball, basketball, wrestling, hockey, etc. There are not many professional cheerleading leagues in different countries of the world. Among the most famous leagues it is possible to mention the NFL Cheerleading League, the NBA Cheerleading League, the CFL Cheerleading League and others. Professional cheerleaders wearing symbolic apparel and good quality dance shoes don't only compete and cheer at games but also do a lot of charity work, advertising, public speaking and television performances.
Cheerleading is one of the most popular kinds of sports among contemporary youngsters. A lot of talented cheerleaders appear around the world though there are still no Olympic cheerleading teams. However, there are many national and international competitions as well as famous cheerleading TV shows, films and video games nowadays.
